About KEF Shop

Rich in culture and history the Middle Kuskokwim region of Alaska has been home to Indigenous peoples since time immemorial. Though a melting pot of several cultural groups, these lands are rooted with Yupiaq and Deg Hit’an ways of life. 

Our new Language – People – Place t-shirts aim to awaken our languages, Yugtun and Deg Xinag, and help them make their way back into everyday conversation. To keep the learning reciprocal as are most things in our way of life, all proceeds from these sales go toward funding Kuskokwim Educational Foundation (KEF) Scholarships. KEF supports educational, career, personal, and cultural learning of The Kuskokwim Corporation Shareholders.
