The KEF General Scholarships are designed to provide all eligible applicants scholarships to attend accredited institutions. The amounts are awarded annually, then divided by term (for example traditional semesters are paid out in half, four quarter sessions paid out in fourths, etc.) Students must maintain and provide documentation of current eligibility at the end of each term.
Part time students (6-11 credits per term) are eligible for funding, but may only receive half the amount determined for full time students.
KEF General Scholarship program does not fund scholarships for graduate students, students at non –accredited institutions or students enrolled in less than six credits.
Additionally, students will not be eligible for KEF scholarships if they receive Donlin Gold Kuskokwim Education Foundation scholarship funds.
KEF General Scholarship Eligibility requirements include:
- Must have attained high school diploma or G.E.D.
- Be admitted into accredited post-secondary or vocational training program
- Be a TKC Shareholder
- Complete the required application and materials by deadline
- All applicants must be in good academic standing (cumulative and term GPA 2.5 or higher)
