Middle Kuskokwim Languages Youth Tee – Blueberry/Curaq/Niłyagh

$28.50

Just before summer transitions to fall, blueberries ripen across the tundra of the Middle Kuskokwim region. For Yup’ik and Deg Hit’an (Deg Xinag-speaking) peoples, berry picking is about more than gathering food, it’s about family, tradition, and time spent on the land. Blueberries are enjoyed fresh, preserved for winter, and shared at gatherings, carrying both nourishment and cultural meaning. This unisex t-shirt features an illustration of blueberries along with two Native words, both translate to “blueberry.”

– Curaq (Yup’ik)
– Niłyagh (Deg Xiang)

This shirt is more than just clothing. It is one of the ways we work to preserve language, honor the Middle Kuskokwim cultural, and community support for students from the Middle Kuskokwim region of Alaska. All proceeds benefit The Kuskokwim Corporation’s Shareholder students. We hope you wear it with pride!
