Middle Kuskokwim Languages Youth Tee – Trees/Napat/Didlang

$25.00

Along the Middle Kuskokwim, spruce and birch grow strong and tall, their roots deep in the land and the culture of the people who live here. For Yup’ik and Deg Hit’an (Deg Xinag-speaking) peoples, these trees are more than part of the landscape. They provide firewood, shelter, tools, and medicine, woven into daily life and tradition. From carving to healing, the gifts of spruce and birch carry knowledge passed down through generations. This unisex t-shirt features an illustration of both trees along with two Native words, each translating to “trees/wood.”

– Napat (Yup’ik)

– Didlang (Deg Xiang)

This shirt is more than just clothing. It is one of the ways we work to preserve language, honor the Middle Kuskokwim cultural, and community support for students from the Middle Kuskokwim region of Alaska. All proceeds benefit The Kuskokwim Corporation’s Shareholder students. We hope you wear it with pride!
