THE FOCUS OF THE STUDENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE IS TO HELP SUPPORT THE MISSION OF OUR FOUNDATION AND THE SUCESS OF OUR STUDENTS. THE COMMITTEE WILL PROVED CURRENT SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS A NEW AVENUE FOR INVOLVEMENT. STUDENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEMBERS WILL MEET BOTH WITH AND WITHOUT THE KEF Board TO EVALUATE OUR PROCESSES AND PROPOSE IDEAS FOR ENSURING STUDENTS STUDENTS SUCESS AND WELLBEING.
Students must submit an application, letter of interest, and a resume.
The Role of Student Advisory Committee
-Attend meetings quarterly
-Engage with the KEF Board of Directors (BOD)
-Implement ideas on how the BOD can better serve the students
Each member will serve for one academic year, with the opportunity to reapply. There are no term limits, as experience and familiarity with foundation structures are important assets. Returning applicants will be asked to reflect on their involvement over the past year of service, including good attendance at meetings, have active participation, and show personal/professional growth.
